Business systems · a division of HLLMR Ventures LLC
Your business deserves more than a website.
Connected websites and operational software for owner-run service businesses. The intake, scheduling, quoting, records and paperwork that now live in five apps and a filing cabinet, built into one system and kept running.
Who it's for
Independent operators
Trades, shops and local service businesses run by their owners, where the work happens on paper forms, across apps that don't talk to each other, and behind a website that doesn't bring work in. Nobody's job is administration, so it takes the evenings.
Services
Four kinds of work
Most engagements start with an assessment. Prices are quoted per engagement, after it.
-
Assess
A paid look at how work moves through your business today: the forms, the apps you pay for, where the hours go. You get a written, scoped recommendation.
-
Build
Websites, customer portals and the applications behind them, built around how you actually work, in pieces you can see working.
-
Connect
Intake, customers, appointments, jobs, documents and notifications joined into one system, so nothing is typed twice.
-
Operate
Hosting, monitoring, updates, fixes and backups that have been restored, not just taken. Scope and response times are written into the agreement.
How it works
Six steps, in order
- 01
Discover
What you need, what exists today, and what done means to you.
- 02
Scope
Intent, limits, acceptance tests and the rollback plan, agreed before work starts.
- 03
Build
Small pieces, each shown working before the next begins.
- 04
Verify
Tested against what was agreed, with the results written down.
- 05
Deploy
Released so it can be rolled back, and the rollback is tried first.
- 06
Maintain
Kept running and improved on the terms you chose.
Ownership
Who owns what we build
Decided before work starts, and written into the agreement.
You own it
The source code and the data are yours. Any components HLLMR brought with it are named in the agreement, along with what you may do with them.
We run it for you
You subscribe to a system HLLMR owns and operates. How you export your data, and how you leave, are written down before you start.
Our own work
Judge us by what we run
Client work is just starting, so here is our own, labelled as ours. Silo is a released desktop app with its own API. The self-hosted stack runs the company's mail, files and recovery, and every backup on it has been restored. This site is released the same way we would release yours: checked file by file, with a rollback tried before it goes live.
Tell us how your business works today.
A few lines are enough: what the business does, where the time goes, and what you would change first. A person reads every message.
